Required Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Geography, GIS, Statistics, Public Health, Social Sciences, International Development, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
  2. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
  3. Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in project implementation, M&E, GIS, research, or development programming.
  4. Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, donor-funded projects, research institutions, or development agencies is desirable.
  5. Experience in field coordination and stakeholder engagement is an advantage.


Required Technical Competencies

  1. Candidates should possess expertise in one or more of the following areas:
  2. Monitoring & Evaluation
  3. Development of logframes, indicators, and M&E plans
  4. Data analysis and reporting
  5. Knowledge of MEAL methodologies and tools
  6. GIS and Spatial Analysis
  7. Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or related platforms
  8. Spatial data analysis and visualization
  9. Mapping and geospatial reporting
  10. Data Management and Analysis
  11. Experience with KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO, CommCare, or similar platforms
  12. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SPSS, STATA, R, or related analytical tools
  13. Database management and data cleaning skills
  14. Research and Evaluation
  15. Survey design and implementation
  16. Quantitative and qualitative research methods
  17. Evaluation and assessment methodologies
  18. Project Management
  19. Work planning and activity coordination
  20. Budget tracking and implementation support
  21. Risk management and reporting
