Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Geography, GIS, Statistics, Public Health, Social Sciences, International Development, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
- Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in project implementation, M&E, GIS, research, or development programming.
- Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, donor-funded projects, research institutions, or development agencies is desirable.
- Experience in field coordination and stakeholder engagement is an advantage.
Required Technical Competencies
- Candidates should possess expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Development of logframes, indicators, and M&E plans
- Data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of MEAL methodologies and tools
- GIS and Spatial Analysis
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or related platforms
- Spatial data analysis and visualization
- Mapping and geospatial reporting
- Data Management and Analysis
- Experience with KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO, CommCare, or similar platforms
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SPSS, STATA, R, or related analytical tools
- Database management and data cleaning skills
- Research and Evaluation
- Survey design and implementation
- Quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Evaluation and assessment methodologies
- Project Management
- Work planning and activity coordination
- Budget tracking and implementation support
